Which is quite odd considering that
more than 99.99% of those attending are merely 'respectful spectators'.
Jesus never invited any spectators when he initiated the memorial (in fact he kicked one out).
The Bible doesn't say spectators must watch the anointed pass the bread every year.
There was no provision in the Pascha meal for people not to join in the meal. Egyptians were not invited into the homes of the Jews to watch them eat. No, not even the Egyptians that later joined the Jews on their exodus (according to the myth).
So 99.99% of JW should have no issue staying at home and do some personal Thanksgiving.
Of course, the GB now all this, they just don't want JW to realize it too.
